10:45 – started to add the water

We are using 14 gallons of Ojai water and 5 gallons of RO water

We want to hit a london water profile so we added

2g table salt

6.4g epsom salt

6.4g baking soda

Water temp is at 65°

 

11:13 – Water temp at 120°

 

11:48 – just added the grain to the mash tun

added 51 quarts of water

28lbs of grain

time to setup the pump

 

11:50 – start the mash

see you at 12:15 (75min mash)

1:16 – start the fly sparge

1:55 – start the boil

2:25 Boil!

added the first hops

1.4 oz Magnum Hops – 20.5% alpha

 

2:55 added 1.25 oz Centennial Hops – 10.8% alpha

 

3:10 added 2oz Cascade Hops 9.10% alpha

 

3:20 added 2oz Cascade Hops 9.10% alpha

 

3:45 start to transfer the wort to the carboy
